Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Zuno App, operated by Zuno Learning Inc. ("Zuno," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Zuno App mobile application, website at zunoapp.com, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise accessing the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must meet the following criteria:

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and manage the Service on behalf of a child
• Parental Authority: You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child who will be using the app
• Legal Capacity: You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Jurisdiction: You must reside in a jurisdiction where the use of our Service is permitted under applicable law

Zuno App is designed for children ages 3–6. Children may only use the Service under the supervision and with the consent of their parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts & Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Child Profiles

You may create one or more child profiles under your parent account. You represent and warrant that you are the parent or legal guardian of each child for whom you create a profile. You are responsible for all activity conducted through child profiles under your account.

3.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Zuno App will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account information.

4. Subscription & Billing

4.1 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for new users. Unless you cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan. You will receive a reminder notification before the trial expires.

4.2 Subscription Plans

Zuno App offers various subscription plans as displayed within the app or on our website. Pricing is subject to change with reasonable notice. Current subscribers will be notified of pricing changes at least 30 days before they take effect.

4.3 Billing & Payment

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan)
• Payment is processed through the platform from which you downloaded the app (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store) or through our website payment processor
• You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for all applicable fees

4.4 Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the respective app store
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then
• Refund requests are handled in accordance with the refund policies of the respective app store platform
• For subscriptions purchased directly through our website, refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase by contacting support@zunoapp.com

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the app
• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
• Circumvent any technological measures designed to protect the Service or its content

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service — including all content, features, functionality, designs, graphics, artwork, characters, audio, text, software, and trademarks — is owned by Zuno Learning Inc. and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

The Zuno App name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Zuno Learning Inc. You may not use such marks without our prior written permission.

6.2 Limited License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the app on devices you own or control
• Access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes

This license does not grant you any ownership rights to the Service or its content.

7. User-Generated Content

7.1 Voice Recordings

The Service processes voice recordings from children as part of the AI speech recognition feature. By using this feature, you (as the parent/guardian) consent to the collection and processing of voice data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7.2 Feedback & Suggestions

Any feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other submissions you provide to us regarding the Service ("Feedback") are non-confidential and shall become the sole property of Zuno App. We may use Feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you.

8. AI-Powered Services

8.1 Nature of AI Services

Zuno App uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to provide educational features, including but not limited to speech recognition, adaptive learning, and content recommendations. You acknowledge that:

• AI outputs may not always be perfectly accurate or appropriate
• AI-generated feedback is educational in nature and does not constitute professional assessment or diagnosis
• We continuously work to improve the accuracy and appropriateness of AI-generated content

8.2 No Professional Advice

The educational content and AI feedback provided through the Service do not constitute professional educational, medical, psychological, or developmental advice. The Service is intended to supplement — not replace — parental guidance, formal education, or professional assessments.

9. Disclaimers

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable
• The quality of the Service will meet your expectations
• Any content, including AI-generated feedback, will be accurate, complete, or appropriate

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ZUNO APP, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR INR 5,000 (FIVE THOUSAND RUPEES), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Zuno App, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of a third party
• Any content you submit or transmit through the Service

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@zunoapp.com or through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

12.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, to us, or to third parties, or for any other reason.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• All licenses and rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease
• You must cease all use of the Service and delete the app from your devices
• We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law)

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India.

13.3 Jurisdiction

For any matters not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

13.4 Class Action Waiver

To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify registered users via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect
• Display a prominent notice within the app

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account.
